This weekend has been mad, with me being away for my day job, we still managed to get down to Brands Hatch for the Bemsee meetin (British Motorcycle Racing Club) where the sidecar was having an outing as a test session. There was also some of the other British Sidecar boys there just to run the bikes in before the season starts.
With a damp track the choies was to go with wets at the end of quailfing the boys were 6th.

Race 1 with a drying track and the boys starting in 6th and still on the wet side of the track they didnt get the best of starts as they couldnt get the grip but managed to hold their ground. With the front runners running away, the boys found their pace and kept chipping away, getting around the back makers, only with a few laps to go they managed to get up to 5th.
After the race Kevin said “its like a school report must try harder but happy with the bike”

Race 2 with a dry track the boys managed a 2nd.
After the race this is what Kevin had to say “race 2 was ok just got to push harder leave brakeing a little later and make lap 1 as quick as we can but overall quite pleased with the first outing of the season”
Local boy Jack Tritton from Cromer who was in the seat for Simon Gilbert came home first. After a back end to the season of last year when his driver Barry James was taken to soon when he was involved in a RTA on his way to work.
